Lloyds Register

Alan Gavin, marine director at Lloyd’s Register, will retire at the end of June this year. He will be succeeded by Tom Boardley, currently senior representative of the CMA CGM shipping group in the UK, where he is responsible for shipmanagement, short-sea shipping line management, and the liner agency of the four CMA CGM brands in the UK. Gavin will continue in an advisory role to Lloyd’s Register and the shipping industry.
