Q88.com is a Web-Based application that has streamlined the pre-fixture process and eliminated the time consuming task of manually filling out numerous oil company forms every time a fixture was concluded. The system also serves as a "live" database of tanker details allowing greater transparency for ship owners and others.

Q88.com has eliminated paper/fax by linking all oil company charterer and terminal forms to a common database of ship details to allow 600+ individual oil company forms to be completed automatically in minutes by the ship owner. Prior to Q88.com, these forms were filled out by hand and this could add hours to the fixture process. Q88.com also has the following features to increase the efficiency and accuracy of the pre-fixture process:

• Complete vetting system to manage approvals. Included is a Vetting Information bulletin board allowing all tanker owners to offer advice/guidance to assist other vetting professionals.
  
• Live terminal vetting database that allows ship's to directly submit terminal conditions to a common database. This database is open to all INTERTANKO members and provides increased safety and operational awareness for the tanker industry.
  
• Direct integration with the Petrogal, Repsol, Sunoco, PMI and Tesoro vetting systems. This has eliminated the requirement for ship owners to type ship information on different oil company websites.
